COVID-19 Message

To Our Valued Patrons:

As much of the nation is being affected by the COVID-19 virus, Thomas Hirchak Company is no exception. In doing our part to help halt the spread of this virus, we are adjusting many auction dates and our load out procedures in order to comply with the order issued by our state government, as well as adherence to CDC recommendations.

Please check our website for all date changes pertaining to auctions, previews, open houses, and load outs. Online auctions will proceed as scheduled, however; load out of items for those auctions ending during our state’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” order (through April 15 at the time of this message) will be by appointment only, as outlined below. Shipping may be delayed. All information for each auction will be updated as it becomes available. Please click on the auction pages for information pertaining to each, as they may differ.

While our staff is not currently able to answer phone calls in real time, we are checking our voicemail messages and emails throughout the day, as well as monitoring social media. In our continued efforts to provide you with the best customer service during this time, we encourage you to contact us as needed.

Pick Up Procedures During Vermont’s “Stay Home, Stay Safe” Order:

Firearms:

  1. All pick-ups by scheduled appointment ONLY. Schedule with Chris@thcauction.com.
  2. No pick-ups will be scheduled until payment is made in full via credit card. Sorry, no cash or checks accepted at this time.
  3. Buyers who do not show up for scheduled appointments will forfeit items with no refund.
  4. Please DO NOT BID on items if you are unavailable to retrieve on scheduled load out day(s).

When you arrive to your scheduled pick-up appointment:

  1. Pull up to “Load Out” sign and REMAIN IN YOUR VEHICLE.
  2. Please be sure to have a COPY OF YOUR PAID INVOICE.
  3. THCo staff will present Federal Background Screening paperwork for you to complete in your vehicle. PLEASE HAVE VALID GOVERNMENT ISSUED PHOTO ID READY.
  4. THCo staff will photograph your ID and expedite background screen.
  5. Upon completion of background screen, THCo staff will bring purchases to your vehicle.
  6. FFL holders must EMAIL COPY OF FFL PRIOR TO PICKUP (FFL@THCAuction.com)

**Online buyers must have FFL emailed to us no later than 5:00 PM day before load out or will be subject to shipping delay

**Items being shipped will be processed by THCo staff. S&H charges will be processed to card on file with Proxibid.

**Bathroom facilities will not be available during pickup times.

Antiques & Collectibles:

  3. THCo staff will verify your bidder number and payment and bring your items to the designated pickup area on the exterior of the building.
  4. Buyer responsible for loading items into vehicle. THCo staff is not permitted to assist with loading.
  5. Items to be shipped will be processed by Pack & Send Plus.

**Bathroom facilities will not be available during pickup times.
