Serial # 40200322. Built in the 80's with limited production, these guitars never got off the ground like Fender had hoped. There aren't many of these in circulation since not very many were even made. This guitar was seemingly played and well loved, likely by a rhythm rocker from what I can tell by the wear. The finish is outstanding with minimal blemishes. There is a bit of buckle rash which only adds to this guitar's story. All the chrome is shiny and polished like it just rolled out of the factory. The fretboard is in great condition and frets have minimal wear. This guitar has a beautiful ivory binding all around. Guitar has great action and plays beautifully. 25" scale length. I've been unable to accurately date this guitar by the serial number, which is common for these Japanese-era Fenders. There is a "2" stamped into the back of the headstock. Pot codes are MIMΩ 41K. All switches, pickups and knobs function as they should. Original HS case included with Fender Master Series brochure. This guitar was born to rock!
