Innovative auction company is searching for a creative, self-driven, marketing professional to develop, grow, and sustain our forty-four-year reputation of providing amazing results for our commercial, auto, and real estate auction clients.


Overseeing the operations of the marketing department to include: management of marketing staff, development of marketing initiatives for our overall organization and specifically for our three divisions, adhering to branding standards in digital and print formats, creating advertising campaigns, tracking marketing analytics for ROI, advertising vendor negotiations, and the ability to develop strategic solutions for growth through marketing.


  • 5+ years in an advanced marketing role.

Auto Auction Manager (Williston)

This position is for overall management of our Auto Auction location, in Williston, VT, being responsible for leading, directing and overseeing all activities of the business. The General Manager obtains optimum growth, efficiency and economy of operations through effective leadership, planning, developing and implementing business strategies. The General Manager tracks market conditions to maximize business results and profitability.

Measures of success for this position include customer experiences, employee engagement, market revenue, profit margin, market share and growth in sales.

Administrative Assistant (Morrisville)

Thomas Hirchak Company is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Morrisville, VT office to support the personal property auction division with office, digital and financial tasks. Auction experience is not essential.

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs, and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.


  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organize and schedule appointments
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Update and maintain office policies and procedures

Auction Site Tech (Multiple Positions Available)

We’re seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join our auction team. The positions are 40 hours/week and based in Morrisville, VT. A background check is required. Involves working outdoors, in commercial and industrial facilities, and includes some travel (sometimes overnight), and occasional odd hours.

Required Qualifications

  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Self-starter and Ability to work efficiently, independently and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions, ask questions if needed, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely drive a truck with trailer
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Primary Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Maintaining list of THCo assets used on site (tables, chairs, temporary lighting, etc.)
  • Reporting equipment failures, recommend repairs / resolutions, facilitate
  • Using checklists, templates and / or forms to ensure work is completed accurately
  • Making sure your work is accurate and complete prior to submitting to supervisor
  • Tracking time, project status, materials and equipment and submitting report to supervisor daily
  • Sorting, indexing, bundling and/or boxing
