The Thomas Hirchak Company is seeking a dynamic individual for a 32-to-40-hour week position to complete all accounting functions at our Morrisville headquarters. Candidates must be detail oriented, possess the ability to multi task and be self-motivated. There is never a dull moment.
Responsibilities range from basic to highly detailed. Our ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, be highly organized, and have 3-5 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
Job duties include maintaining the accounting system, assurance of compliance of Company with all laws and general accounting principles, input of all income, preparing and reviewing financial reports, processing of payroll, payroll taxes, employee 401K, health benefits, sales and use tax and any estimated tax payments. Oversight and control of AP and AR. Preparing company financial records for annual accountant processing. Able to work with/or create and implement necessary systems to ensure productivity and profitability. HR experience is a bonus.

Auction Site Tech
Highly organized and have high attention to detail

Make sure your work is accurate and complete prior to submitting to supervisor
Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely drive a truck with trailer
Pass background check
Tracking time, project status, materials and equipment and submitting report to supervisor daily
This position is 40 hours per week and based out of our Morrisville, Vermont location

Working at auctions
Packing and moving furniture and smalls
Travel, sometimes over night
Occasional odd hours
Working outdoors, in commercial and industrial facilities

Auto Auction Assistant
Looking for responsible, motivated, self-starter for busy Williston auto auction facility. Position works with the general manager and the office manager completing tasks both inside outdoors. This is a 32-40 hour per week position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process / intake vehicles, including photographing and marking inventory
Move sold inventory to storage
Assist customers with basic auto needs (i.e. jump starts, air in tires)
Ability to drive all vehicles and equipment
Auction set up, Including gallery and vehicles
Clean and detail cars if needed
Snow removal from cars and plowing if needed, summer yard maintenance, automotive-related supply runs
Cross train in office as needed, including answering phones and general clerical work
Computer skills a plus
This job will require the abilities to remain focused and change tasks as needed This job performs duties in all environments, including inclement weather and heat. Appropriate office attire required. Must be able to pass a background check and possess a valid Vermont driver’s license.
We’re seeking a part time (20-30 hours per week) marketing assistant at our Morrisville office to assist in preparing and sending print and web ads, posting auctions on websites, and basic filing. Ideal candidate will have strong Adobe Creative Suite (or willing to learn), Microsoft Office, and communication skills, and be highly organized with attention to detail.
